Hi guys!
Let me tell you about the Wassaga Beach Cat
Show. First, they woke me up at 4 AM!
TRICKED
Sam and I into the pet carriers - we were a
little hungry...
Without missing a beat we are
rolling down the highway with the sun rising
far far away...
Apparently Guy had to go
because we found ourselves veering off the
highway into some parking lot. He quickly
ran inside a building and came out moments later
looking happy with coffee and donuts. Nothing
for cats apparently. Oh well...
All that rushing around was starting to
stress me out. Not to mention I was
missing a few hours of sleep, so I decided to
do some catching up. Sammy as usual was
watching everything along the way. He said he
saw the biggest mountain of poop ever. There
were many cows along the way. He said that we
never travelled this far before.
We finally found the show hall and soon
our setup was organized. The show started and
we were taken from one judge table to
another, I even got a few kisses. I was
getting dizzy from all the commotion. A girl
like me doesn't need the stress, you know.
Later on that day, after meeting hundreds of
new friends, exhaustion was getting the best
of me; I was ready to go. I guess Guy and
Natalie must have read my mind because they
suddenly decided that is was time to leave. Smart move, guys...
As we were leaving, someone told us that
we had to get back inside for photos.
Flattered by the attention I decided to put
up a brave face and oblige as a true British
Shorthair Queen should.
Turns out, they took my photo in Guy's arms
surrounded by show officials presenting me a
big award with beautiful red and white
ribbons. The nice judges said I was the best
kitten at the show.
Guy and Natalie were so
proud of us. They couldn't stop yacking all
the way.
Home at last Samuel and I gathered with
the others around the food plate and
exchanged stories of the day. Samuel was
happy for me, I kinda like him. He's cute.
A big Love Meow to everyone I met at the
show and see you soon.
Love,
 Celestina (Tina)
